If you are not utilizing social networks, websites or email campaigns to promote your business, then you are a bit behind the times.  For those of us who have been privileged to run a business over the past two decades have seen drastic changes in the way businesses or brands are advertised.  Back in the day, magazine ads were the key.  For some industries, I believe this still may be a strong vehicle for brand awareness, but for many small businesses, there are other marketing methods that are less costly and very effective.

Chances are, if you are not utilizing the new delivery methods, like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, SEO, email campaigns, etc., then you are also probably not reading this.  If you have a friend who fits this category, encourage them to get with the times and contact a business consultant that can help them through this process.   Check out this article from smallbiztrends.com: 70 percent of Small Businesses Plan to Increase Digital Marketing Spend.  This article has some interesting statistics and information on the subject digital marketing.   In short, according to the article, in 2017, 59% of those surveyed by GetResponse said they will utilize social networks, 50% will use mobile marketing, and 42% using email marketing.
